We know that emergencies don’t always happen during opening hours, and having access to trusted veterinary care when you need it most is incredibly important. As a new independent practice, we’re currently unable to provide our own overnight and out of hours service. As we continue to grow, this is something we’d love to offer in the future. Until then, we’ve carefully partnered with a local provider that shares our commitment to delivering compassionate, high-quality care.

Our out of hours provider is Medivet Veterinary Hospital in Alfreton. We took the time to meet their team, visit their hospital and see their service first-hand, giving us confidence that your companion will be in safe, caring hands whenever they need emergency treatment outside of our normal opening hours.

If your companion requires ongoing hospitalisation or overnight care, they may remain with the Medivet team until they’re well enough to come home. Our priority has always been doing what’s best for your pet, and if that means they receive the specialist care they need at the hospital, then that’s exactly what we’ll support.

Where appropriate, and once your pet is stable, we’ll always be happy to discuss transferring their care back to Rose Vets so you can continue your journey with the team you know and trust.
